Admitted to Louisiana Bar in 1964. Also admitted to practice before U.S. district courts for eastern,
middle and western districts of La.

Practiced law in Baton Rouge, La., 1964-1965. Removed practice to Gonzales, La. in December
of 1965 and has maintained office there since that date. Opened branch office in Baton Rouge in
1983 and has had both offices since that date.

Member of Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Louisiana Trial Lawyers
Association, American Trial Lawyers Association. Served as a member of the Louisiana State
Bar Association House of Delegates. Served as Vice President and as Secretary-Treasurer of
Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, and on their Board of Governors.

Served as Assistant District Attorney for the 23rd Judicial District Court from 1975 to 1987.

Served as District Chairman for Chenevert District, Boy Scouts of America. Past member of the
Board of Directors of the Gonzales Chamber of Commerce. Charter member and Past President
of the Rotary Club of Gonzales. Served as Ascension Parish representative on the Board of
Directors of the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

He is a current or past member of: Louisiana Nature Conservancy; The Louisiana Bass
Hatchery, Inc.; Louisiana Wildlife Federation; Coastal Conservation Association; North
American Fishing Club; Bass Angler Sportsman's Society.

He has served on the Board of Regents of Liberty University.

He has successfully tried cases or effected settlements for several clients in excess
of $1,000,000.00.

His largest judgment collected for a client was $7,635,778.50.

He has over 40 years of legal experience and is highly rated by Martindale-Hubble.

He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of United Community Bank of Gonzales,
Louisiana.

He is a Deacon in the Baptist Church.
